What Is The Coin Method?

The Coin Method is an option we offer to digitally size your natural nails, as if I was there in person sizing your nails but it will be through the phone. The Coin Method is a great option because it's convenient. Since everything is done digitally we won't have to wait on Sizing Kits to be shipped out. The Coin Method is also free, and who doesn't love free?

True or False: The Coin Method Is 100% Accurate.

False. The Coin Method has been extremely accurate almost every single time I've used it, which has been a lot, but it isn't 100% guaranteed to be accurate. I am pro The Coin Method because number one it's free, and who doesn't love free? But it is important to understand that there could sometimes be slight variations when you decide to use The Coin Method!

What Other Sizing Options Do You Offer?

I offer The Coin Method and our Sizing Kits. Our Sizing Kits do ensure more of an accuracy than The Coin Method would, but it will cost $8. Either choice is very welcome :).

How Do I Use The Coin Method?

  • Use a coin (preferably a quarter since it's bigger).
  • Lay your hand on a flat surface, place your phone at a bird's eye view. (Basically, just above your hand.)
  • You're going to take photos of both your left and right hand in separate photos. (Please have your thumbs in two separate photos as well.)
  • * A plus is having good lighting for clear photos! *

Questions

  • Are they reusable and how long do they last?

    • Yes. Our nails are specifically designed to last and be durable. They can be reused many times and last you up to 4 weeks. The amount of time the nails stay on is really contingent upon how they are applied. There will be instructions with your package, ensuring it's concise and very easy to follow. That way you will have a great application so your nails last!

  • What is your processing time?

    • Although I start processing the orders as soon as they come in, I like to tell everyone that my processing time is 1-2 weeks. As things do happen, I like to give myself a grace period, but it will not take me more than a week to work on your nails.
    • The shipping time will be contingent upon what type of shipping method you choose, where you live, etc. which all of that info will be in your order confirmation!

  • Do you offer ready to ship sets and will it affect processing time?

    • We do not offer ready-to-ship sets. We actually offer make-to-order, because there are so many different customer specifications to be made, we prefer to start processing everything after the order is placed. It will not affect processing time because we start as soon as you finalize the order!

  • Do you offer custom designs?

    • Yes! While I have pre-made nail designs listed on here, I also love to do custom nail designs. No matter the look we got you here at Jaded Jewel's Nails.

  • Do you accept returns?

    • No. We do not accept returns for sanitary reasons. Refunds also will not be granted after two days you have recieved your nails. Please review our policy page for more details.

  • How do I choose the right sizing?

    • I offer sizing kits you can purchase before you fully commit to a set of nails. Sizing kits are an effective way to ensure the accuracy of you nail sizes. I also offer the choice of doing the coin method. Instructions for the coin method will be in the product descriptions.
